Was at a outdoor Ted Nugent & ZZ Top concert at Soaring Eagle Casino (Mt. Pleasant, Michigan) last night. I was wearing my Norton tee shirt and these two brothers who's last name is Norton came up to me and showed me their tattoo's. Had a conversation with them and they currently don't have a Norton motorcycle but hope to aquire one in the future. Since their last name is Norton, they just happen to like the Norton script. They obliged to let me take a photo. Oh, concert was a blast! ZZ Top pictures didn't come out very well.

Wonderful find and design, very cool for a tattoo to me. Everything about Norton is cool but their economics...

ZZ Top, Ted Nugent and Norton Commandos...Holy smokin rockets! What a flash back!

Inspiring to see Norton stained in for life. Billy and Dusty were almost neighbors to rub shoulders with but not in their direct circle. Close friend ran their studio and we'd do a bit of X-mass party in their Houston home. In the real south a gun is same as BBQ equipment, stereo and motorcycle to get high on.

yeah, the tats are kewl... impressive to see the loyalty! I wonder if anybody has any Lucas Ink?

at the same time... I own a remington semi auto 12 ga, and sw revolver. those things are there to protect my home and family, where the nearest cop is a 1/2 hour away. Anybody who displays firepower like that rifle at a public event is nothing more than an asshole, imho. just my 2¢....

yes, Swoosh... there's way too much shootin going on. showing your rifle at an event like that makes one a asshole, plain and simple. what's the point?

Ted likes to show that people should respect not fear firearms. Not that much different from you bragging about your arsenal on a public forum. :?

People with intelligence and self control can use power tools safely and accurately as do vast majority of mortorcyclers and ax players. After some years interviewing locals and visiting riders I turned out to be well protected about any where they are.
Light up the Barbie, crank up the music - set up some targets and lets have a blast.

Hehe, the fella that sold me my 1st Combat is kicking himself for letting it go and wants one now, but in the mean time for a holiday he took his Harley on 1st long trip to Sturgis with only cash and a pistol. Now that's the way to travel light and free. Oh yeah on way to get some oil for my Combat in his PU truck he had to move the shotgun which I saw in so many peoples rigs so asked him about it, he said its for the bulls to get their attention and sometimes take a few bird shots to change their minds and behave. They sell or you can make up a sign for yard and car that says its Gun Safe...

Promised myself I'd get a Norton tattoo when I'd either revived my old one or got another. Well, I got another and now the decision is just where and how big! Got time to think it over, doesn't feel right until I've had a few good rides under my belt. But at least with the little bit of strife she's giving me at the moment, I'll have earned both the rides and the tattoo.

doesn't make him an asshole in my opinion, the point is he's exercising his right to do that and letting others know where he stands. personally, i'd pick you as the "asshole", as you put it, over ted since you feel the need to question one of the few rights we have left as americans, but then again i'm not an obama supporter, and i believe in the constitution (ridiculous, i know). we have open carry law where i live and if people don't exercise their rights regularly, they tend to disappear. just my 2 cents on the matter.

Hey! What about Commando's. Aren't we suppose to talk about Commando's. I think we slipped into a different kind of commando. Besides, Ted a simply a hunter gatherer type of guy. This particular rifle is suited to a certain species of squirrel where he come from. Yummmmmm, squirrel!

Other than that, I just think he's asshole. IMHO!

Speaking of ..............squirrels, hey dave, when ya gonna turn that banana into a cherry.

Hey LAB, this thread should not exist here, IMHO.

I posted the Ted Nugent photo without realizing the A-15 sitting atop the speakers. My main point was the Norton brothers tattoo and I put in the Ted Nugent photo in as this is where I ran into these brothers at the concert. The Ted Nugent photo will be deleted from Image Hosting here shortly.

No big whoop there travelerjerry. My rant wasn't geared toward you. You just got the Norton spirit, nothing wrong with that.

I want to sincerely apologize to all readers here for my use of strong language describing someone who advocates "2nd Amendment remedies" when they're on the losing side. Nobody's trying to take away yours or my guns, btw.

The clip on that rifle is good for only one thing, and that's my point. Ask any cop what they think about guns like those. And ask yourself what makes draft dodger Nugent a "true patriot"... is it his hatred of those on the other side of the democratic process?

And I would agree with a recent post, yes I am an asshole as well!

But, lets all be friends, ok?
