Hi! all.I am in need of some outside insight for the following.
I ride a 1968 750 Atlas. And am playing with the idea of sleeving it down to 650,with higher comp pistons,I am not sure about the cam shaft yet.anyhoo the reason being that in the 60s
I owned a 1964 SS,it was probably the nicest bike I have ridden,I rember blowing off Bonny's
and warmed up T110s, with no problem, the one thing I remeber well is the smoothness of the ride and would like to try to get that back, top end is not that important to me as I am 71
and have finaly learnt that throwing it away can really hurt.
Anyway any thoughts would be greatly appreciated,I can also be contacted at my e mail
johnt@eastlink.ca or facebook John turner.Yarmouth NS

Rubber side down guys JT

Interesting, I would think that the biggest problem you will run into will be combustion chamber differences i.e. the 650 will have a smaller combustion chamber to get the correct compression and squish ratios, a 650 head may work but i dought it will have the same stud pattern.
