Peter

Just got off the phone with Richard. I'm all straightened out on his plan now. We will meet at my favorite cafe in North Adams MA tomorrow. Which means he will have ridden exactly the route I was hoping he would! Can't wait to chat with him. :D

Its great that you guys could meet. I'm hoping to do the same out in the great plains.

I'm back from a delightful 2 1/2 hour chat with Richard P. at a cafe in North Adams MA. Great stories and good inside information about the Norton factory, etc.

Looks like I took too many photos of his bike. I'm left with this one shot of Richard ...

Special Thanks to Norton Canada CEO Peter Howes for DONATING the parts and oil for this service to Richard. ANd myself and my dad did the service at no cost. Our way of helping support the trip.

Here is a Pic of Peter who came down on a two hour trip to meet Richard Pearce at my dads to do a service.

Thank u , eternally grateful for the help, guidance, support & the excellent company of the day,I have found Canada & USA the most people friendly places on earth, was great to meet Peter,Richard & Dave for second time who gave up their day, what Dave can't get he makes, was introduced to their bikes & facinating stories of life in Canada & how they came to be here, can't believe I'm the first person to bring bike over here for a bike tour ( got to take it back ) had to promise the environmental protection agency, had more than one or two pieces of red tape to deal with in getting here, but all worth while ,riding in a foreign country on ur on bike ,what can be better than that.
Done 1300miles in a week now,not using a sat nav or a map, just jotting down main routes & direction I wanna go ,& placing the notes on tank bag. Thanks again chaps
