Just wanted to post a picture of an easy fix for a worn commando sidestand. I have had it a couple years and it works fine. It is just a "u" shaped piece of sheetmetal with two holes in it that goes around the existing worn lug. I have added an adjustable stop using a bolt and jam nuts. A longer bolt is required to add the u-piece.
