Nice looking G15 for sale in Switzerland.

Plenty not original on this bike, nothing wrong with that.
But what should make the alarm bells go off is the way the horn and the tank are mounted.
( and a few other things)
Here has been a 'Bastler' at work, like they would say in Germany..
 
Hi Ludwig, I'm not familiar with the tank mountings on these. Are you referring to the chrome tubes under the front mounts?

Originally the tank was fixed with rubber plugs that expanded by tightening the bolt.
Not a very good solution..
Here on a P11:

Hard to tell how it is done on the Swiss bike, but it looks suspect.
The coils shouldn't be there either.
And the headsteady ? .. lots of odd stuff on that bike..

Just looking at the way the ht leads are rooted, let alone the horn!
Just needs a fork brace to complete it:D
