Hi all i am Aaron from New Zealand.
I have completed a four year resto of my beloved 72 commando and i would like to extend my thanks for all the wisdom gained since stumbling across this website about a year ago which enabled me to tackle all the nightmares i was saving till last like the constant wiring and carb problems which were doing my head in quite frankly,but thanks to you all my bike is pulling like a schoolboy and at 1k idles sweet and all my wirring headaches went away after simplifing and following digrams obtained here this is simply the best site for nortons i have come across and me and the old girl are now very happy together out and about so cheers.This bike was origianly built for the American market and spent first fifteen years of life there before imported to New Zealand and after seven or so owners found her way to me where i gave her all the attention she was craving.Although not dressed in original colour scheme[which was signal orange] and apart from the pipes and minor mods it is a fairly honest example but i will let you all be the judge of that,here are some pics anyway.
