Well the hits keep on coming. As I wait for parts to come back from the powder painters, I decided to look at how the tanks fit on the bike.The Indian made one went on first and looking at it I noticed that there were issues with the paint job. You can see what I'm talking about in the pictures. [ATTACH]113320[/ATTACH][ATTACH]113321[/ATTACH][ATTACH]113322[/ATTACH]Not bad if you are feet away but getting closer shows many defects. The original tank fits better but a close look at the inside shows what I think is Kreem inside and it is peeling away. So, all that needs to come out. I took a small sample of the coating and put it into a jar filled with acetone to see how well that would work. Ideas?
