New Norton Commando, has anyone got one ?, worth the $, does it still pull old fat tattooed biker chicks ?.

Going to San Fran next week, Vegas the week after that, are there any in this area ?.

I believe there is a dealer south of s.f. Pacifica maybe? Bet they have one or two for looking at.

that richard guy on here has one, but he said he wants to sell it :?: I'm surprised no one else has got one yet

Way too much money for me to spend at the moment.
However, it is the only new bike on the market I would consider buying. Things such as the new Bonneville do nothing for me.

There are quite a few in the UK as they started delivering about a year ago, I have seen a couple on the road recently which were the SE version. The SE were the first to be delivered but the 961 Sport is now available, I saw a couple recently at shows on NOC stands which had been ridden there. I have one on order for over a year which is now completed and I will collect it from the factory next week. BTW I was at the factory recently and they have a lot more staff and are now set up for full production, delivery is now 3 months from order.

Cheers John

Well, I for one would luv to buy a NEW Norton ! I'd even sell a couple of my current bikes to finance one. (none of my Nortons though.) Saw one in person at the IX Center MC show in Cleveland years ago, and ain't seen another one yet !!! Thing that ... "disturbs" me is, they (Norton) talk about other bikes that will be developed and made available ... yet the 961 isn't really all that available itself yet !!! If i'm gonna fork out that kind've of cash, I want to see one and test ride it. I really hope Stuart and the new Norton company succeeds ... but they best get off their "duffus" and get some more bikes out there, or potential buyers like me will be too frustrated ... and NOT freakin buy one. Years ago I really wanted a new Bonneville, talk, talk, and more talk. So, I got tired (and irritated) of waiting ... and bought a Brand New Buell Cyclone in April of 1999 !!! Still have it too. Then, Triumph finally comes out with the "New Bonneville" in 2000 ! I was somewhat P.O.'d ... and have yet to buy one of the new Bonnevilles. Sure hope Norton doesn't make the same mistake with folks like me. It is a niche market, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. Anyone else chime in ??? Just my 2 cent rant ...

May see you there then as I will be at the factory next week to give them my final spec. Hope I don't have to wait a year like you did though.
Best

I heard that one had been paid for and was going into South Australia but the import and licensing would be a mystery bag.

In Calif. I don't think they have finished with the red tape testing yet?????? Don't know about the rest of the U.S.
