Here's what Don has in his store: http://www.tritonmotorcycleparts.com/297620485/category/146825/online-storeI'm new to nortonts but working on getting mine road ready. I think I will be needing something like this soon. Is this kit still available?
I took my old braded brake line to a brake specialist to have a longer one made due to changing the handlebars . I was told that the screwed on conections were illegal in NSW Aust , they must be the swaged type . Dont know if that applies elswhere.I'm new to nortonts but working on getting mine road ready. For NZ,This has cropped up before and it seems to be mainly Australia (and NZ?) where swaged (and pressure tested) lines are a legal requirement.
I have one kit in stock.,. other kits Im waiting for the fender stay to be made which shouldnt be to far awayI'm new to nortonts but working on getting mine road ready. I think I will be needing something like this soon. Is this kit still available?
Dunstall Suzuki and Rickman CR Honda we’re pretty nice.It looks like a very nice setup. However I wonder about the modernity of it - most Commandos are classic bikes. I think you have a choice. If your bike is British - keep all the add-ons within ten years of the date of manufacture of the bike. Otherwise if the bike is a hot-rod - do anything. I'm still trying to rid my bike of anything which is obviously Japanese. Italian bits are bearable, otherwise I feel it should be all British and of the period. I think British or Italian parts used on a Japanese bike are simply a waste of good bits.
I'm not quite there yet, but glad to know you are still selling them. I will be in touch soon, hopefully before spring.I have one kit in stock.,. other kits Im waiting for the fender stay to be made which shouldnt be to far away
Don told me he had issues with the sliders, so had to revert to supplying the adapters instead.BTW, are there two kits? One complete with replacement slider, one with an adapter bracket? Ying's pix shows a bracket online shop shows a new slider.
No, I'm afraid not Glen.Any idea what the issues are?
I have one of the sliders on my bike. I've had no problem with it, other than I had to do some intial machining on it to correct.
