Firt impressions very favourable as i have done only 9 miles on it to soon to tell.
last new norton i bought was 34 years ago from a dealer only 6 miles from where the factory is now, spooky !! .

Congratulations!

Looking forward to a ride report and photos when you get a chance.

If that was mine I'd still be out riding it.

Hi Richard,

Thanks for posting your info, what number is your bike? I am #79 and am trying to get some idea of how long 'til I can expect mine. Looking forward to more posts about your new bike.

I think they said he was #6. But they are most likely going to accelerate production as they get more experience putting them together. It's been 30 years since the last ones rolled off the assembly line, I think you'll need a bit more patience.

It'll be interesting to hear how much oil is on the floor in the morning. :)

Seriously, congratulations and pics/real riding reports would be great!

Congratulations Richard, hopefully it gives you many trouble free miles. New Nortons also enhances the longevity of this forum, possibility of another section opening up to discuss?

I hope that in 20 years time when I'm in my slippers and cane, to be stumbling around in my shed saying " bugger it, where'd I put that spare 916 cylinder head"?

Cheers, Richard have a great summer in Pomgolia and tell us how the beast goes.

I hope the only reason that Richard hasn't posted pictures is that he is out putting more miles on it or he's in the garage sitting on it naked making vroom, vroom, noises...

Well, I think we know what Richard's favorite color is!

If I bought one I think I'd choose red also. It looks really good.
