National news about Norton 961

so basically a vintage problematic norton is more reliable than giving these jokers a down payment

Nevertheless, you've got to admit it is a good looking bike. I hope they pull it off.

Well I know nothing about the guy but I do hope they make it & I'm not a bit surprized about the old bikes being more reliable, I road my 72 day in day out rain or shine for several years & it never once let me down. The worst problem I had were two flat tires! A few mods & they are just as reliable and easier to fix then most bikes.

I think what was said by kevbo82 has simply been taken out of context.

Nobody mentioned any reliablity problems with the 961.

That's what I understood too.
I noticed in kbb.com the suggested price of a '72 Commado is now over US$6100. Makes it valued higher than a 2007 Sportster 1200. Maybe this article is helping here. Of course this is good news only to those of us that own, not to prospective owners.
