Knut thanks for your reply the clutch basket is the one in andover nortons p11/n15 page part no 04-0359 . I dont know what the one that came on the bikeis but it looks like the new one except old one is 1 1/4 inch inside new one is one inch . what you are saying makes sense , i have brought 5 new friction platesand a spare steel plate their is a bit of wear on the inside off the old basket but not too bad and comparing the spockets it dosn't look that different i might giveit a quik sandblast and reuse it . But why are andover's selling the 4 plate basket for P11's if they will slip ? thanks John
