...begins with the frame.
After completing some pesky title work, I finally felt as if I could begin my Commando project. So here goes:
I really started last night with some chemical paint stripper, a pressure washer, and my 5 year old son. We knocked off quite a bit of the old paint and my son decided that pressure washers are pretty cool.
Tonight was different, I was flying solo (son is with my starter wife). With a couple of beers and some elbow grease I started. I spent the better part of this evening gently caressing the graceful curves of my Norton's frame with various abrasive products. In just under 2 beers I was able to get most of the paint off, but will finish the job tomorrow night.
Primer will be on tomorrow evening as well. Pictures will be online, too.
and so, the journey begins....
