Well, Ive found myself in a nice little jam. I'm four connections away from finishing up my bike,
but I can't find my notes!

Here's my predicament and this is probably MKIII specific…

Wires needed to be connected:
1) two alternator wires.
2) two neutral indicator switch wires.

Here's my options:
Coming from under the airbox I have…
1) A single bullet connector – white and green
2) A double bullet connector – green and white, & green and yellow
3) A four bullet connector (?) – wire colors very difficult to determine, but they appear to be…
a) red
b) brown and blue (?)
c) green (?)
d) blue (?)

I believe the alternator goes to the double bullet connector, but where do the two wires from the
neutral indicator switch go? My memory says they came out of the four bullet connector, but my memory
is not to be trusted!

On the alternator wires, green/white goes to single bullet connector – white and green, green/yellow goes to double bullet connector – green and white, & green and yellow, but as its AC output you can get them the wrong way round and it will still work.

There shouldn't be any "Green/White" wire from the alternator? As Green/White (Green wire with a White tracer) is used for the L/H turn indicator/blinker circuit on Commandos.

The White/Green and Green/Yellow alternator wires should each go to double connectors having two additional wires of the same colour, as each alternator AC output wire connects to the rectifier, MkIII warning light assimilator, and one Zener diode.

= To the Green and Red connectors. (I don't think it matters which way)

I don't know why your harness has that.

Possibly the main battery negative (and fuse) to harness wire connection, if it has a bullet connector but there should be other Brown/Blue wires with spades? Or could that Brown/Blue actually be a Brown/Green?

That Blue wire (and a Brown/Green?) connects to the assimilator on Canadian MkIII models only, and it/they could short when the lights are switched on if left uninsulated.
