That's a mighty clean '74. Has it been redone or was it stored in some sort of preservative?

Never mind. read in your other thread that it's mostly original. Someone has taken very good care of it since it was new.

I think that if you really appraciated your Norton, It would be on the Persian rug, not next to it.

Another Beauty!

Holy Crap! You have the male accessory plug also. Noticed a part of wiring harness sticking out behind the oil tank. Don't forget to turn the manual oil valve on. VERY NICE BIKE!

Gorgeous bike, but i'd install a 1/4 turn valve on the sump drain before I'd ever have one on the main oil line!

So that's what they look like when they have been properly stored!

Yikes! Gives new meaning to the nature vs nurture argument.

Hi Paul, Lovely bike congratulations, sugest you get rid of the tap in the oil line before you forget to turn it on!!
may catch you on a ride someday. Al

Thanks to you all for the kind compliments on condition ,, Yes ...the oil line tap is definately going ,, I am just to forgetful to keep it :? ,, I fitted one of those little anti wet sump in-line valves from Steadfast Cycles on my R3 and have had no problems, ( fit and forget ) , so I will purchase another one for the Norton ,,

Can some-one tell me the numbers on how to check for an Italian frame ,,

Thanks ,,
Cheers Paul

I sense another lecture coming....

Seriously, I have one of those (not from Steadfast, but same idea) sitting on a shelf in my back room. Many people (including me) think they're not a great idea....
