I've  fitted new lights which are the ones I used to use in old cars. Two spade terminals, run a 9mm drill through , and all OK. No led wires to mess with  came with chrome bezels so look better than originals. Cheap from Ebay. Roy. Have a plastic backing nut, not push fit !
