I’m running a single Mikuni on my Mk3 and I need a bracket to hold my battery side cover on. Can I see your solutions for this fix? Thanks in advance.

The OldBritts bracket I assume is unavailable and I've upgraded the Dzus (to a metal fastener) since I took those pictures.

This is what I have made out of stainless plate, and is similar to what "Norvil" used to supply and possibly still do?

As you can see, it mounts to the frame gusset through an existing hole, and where it mounts to the side panel, I have run a tap through the bracket hole to suit a short half inch unf bolt. I fit a rubber grommet into the side panel hole to protect the side panel from damage by the bolt.

I used rare earth bar magnets encased in heavy wall heat shrink between the frame and the side cover.
Rock solid with zero abrasion from vibration. I was unsure about this idea but was frustrated with the vibration and flex of the various bracket solutions I had tried.
