I use the 063020 single bush and I have not had to line bore them on the ones I have done. you will still use the steel chamfered washer, you are just doing away with the tab washer. No S markings on the cam is IMHO a good thing as you don't have the higher compression to use a combat cam or other hot rod cam to its full potential.

No 2s markings on the cam. Are you talking about the 2 shouldered bushes that replace the one piece timing side bush, pn 06-5428? Do you still use the steel chamfered washer against the tach drive gear with these? I am assuming because the cam is scrolled they don't need to be grooved. Do they need to aligned bored with the drive side bush?

I agree with bill on the use of the 06 3020 and agree that this eliminates the tab washer and you would still need the chamfered thrust washer.

However, if your current cam bushing are within spec, they can be used with any cam, scrolled or not, just not the other way around. The tab washer is fine, just finish breaking off the tab and clean up the edges. If you get a new one, you should do it to that one too.

You can verify what cam you have with a digital caliper.

More pictures from the tear down. Top side of rod journals appear to be in good shape. Will have a better look at the bottom sides after I split the crank.

Crank measures standard with my digital caliper.

Fortunately has superblends and they appear to be in excellent shape.

Number on the timing side is NU306E can't make out any on the drive side. Both have twelve rollers
Since I've gone this far, I will definitely split the crank and clean out any sludge.

Do the inner races both have a single lip (against the crank on each side), as the normal FAG bearing would be NJ306E ?

Yes, both are single lips. As you can see in the bottom picture it clearly looks like a "u", the word "Germany is also stamped on the bearing and the letters "HD"
