Can anyone tell me if a 70's 650 triumph throttle works with a single mikuni conversion? I'm not there yet but wondering if I can buy something that fits or if I have too have it made. Mine's a TM34 but I think the VM length is the same.
I don't know if the triumph cable will work but I do know you need at least four inches of slack on the carb end for the Mikuni. If your triumph cable length is close to that just trim back the casing to get what you need.
My MKIII has a Triumph twist grip throttle assembly fitted, when I fitted the Brembo MC the old switchgear had to go, one of my friends that helped me had one and it works a treat but I am not sure which model it came from.
