Mikuni flatslides?

If Amal designed the VM they sure dropped the ball by selling the design. All MK2 Amals I have been acquainted with have been a disaster. As for the pilot circuitin a VM it is very good. Changing pilots is easy and easy to clean if plugged. Plus a great selection.

Agreed. But on a premier it’s even easier !

As far as I know they had a new design carb that they offered to BSA/triumph/Norton etc who weren't interested
But mikuni were , hence the birth of the mikuni VM
 
The jet can block just as easily as it does on any Amal, but on the Premier it’s easier to remove and clean (just unscrews from the side).
