Hi
Met up with someone who brought his Dommie as a 16 year old. Hes recently put a couple of his newer bikes up for auction. He contacted me as he thought he would have to sell the Dommie as well. I've persuaded him not to. He has damaged his left hand between thumb & fingers & cannot pull the clutch lever. I've pointed out a few things, such as the Vincent straights blocking the cable run. Also the Amal alloy cafe race levers being poor ie fulcrum & the cable run being too tight under the tank. He said the clutch plates & centre had been replaced but the lever pull is hard. I've not worked on a Dommie clutch & everything will need looking at, recommendations?
I've always changed to belt drive.
