Hi all,
To enable me to complete a new project I require a Magura dual cable pull front brake lever. Can anybody assist me with a NOS or serviceable S/H assembly please. These are available ex the UK, but the reseller prices are I think way OTT may the result of post Brexit mark ups.
Regards - Geoff

I've recently sent stuff to Australia. Good turn around. The problem seems to be Australia sending stuff out! No planes = no post.

I sent some stuff to Germany a few weeks ago. 12 days door to door, standard post. Stuff getting here takes forever.

No planes = no post is probably the real issue I think Chris. Most post and light freight actually goes in the belly of passenger aircraft. So I think you’re bang on, there must be horrible back logs of post and freight around the world !

My preference is for the Magura as this is what I have fitted to my current two race bikes and I prefer interchangeability and the need to carry one spare in my kit. I have been known to make quick wheels changes between bikes at the track (tyre or circuit conditions), and all the cables can be left in place.
(Photo of the present two bikes being unloaded at the track sans screens at Winton Victoria late afternoon at the end of May 2021).

Yes, that is pretty correct. The skies are almost devoid of planes here at present. The vaccine roll out has been slow, due in part to the greater need from overseas producers to supply their countries with bigger problems first. Isolation has had both advantages and disadvantages. Apparently the demand for motorcycle restoration parts and services has been massive with a lot of people "locked in/down" and not traveling.
