This 1968 Norton was taken from a impound lot for Aurora Police 1982-83 in Aurora Colorado after it was impounded for no lic plates. The story go as follows, it was originally the Flat Track racing Bike of Racer Billy Snyder a Colorado legend. It had a matchless frame with a custom tank. In it past lift it had been owned by several Denver Bad ASSES Bob Hayes, Mike Hayes, Tom Grubesic and one other. I ended up with is in 1980 and when I was pulled over for exceeeeeeding the speed limit and straight pipes and did not have all the 411 or a DL handy, it was impounded and I never was able to recover it. I would appreciate any info about this bike.
The frame was nickel plated !!
18'' rear wheel / 19'' front wheel
