Nope, can't think of anything recent.
Sorry, I'm stopped again.
Who would of thought that even a "JP Pistons" Piston for a Villiers wouldn't fit, won't go over the little end.
Going to have to take it to work & machine it.
I live in England & just about all aftermarket stuff is rubbish. Try complaining & all you get is a mouthfull.
Even 3 of the "best" Commando retailers do it to me now & again.
I am going to have to stop now, must calm down.

Flo, just last year I bought some exhaust nuts and a rear hub cover from RGM, and the both fit well on my '72... but maybe its that luck of the irish thing there... good luck, Don

Actually, I do get most parts fitting, but fairly often get parts that don't.
I have just put a pair of mirrors on my Commando from RGM, the stalks were far too long, but not much worry, just sawed them back & radiused the ends again. Put the mirrors on & one of the clamping nuts kept spinning because the square hole inside was too big for the bolt head.

I find these days custom can usually be translated into needs modification. It kind of comes with the territory but when one is modifying almost every aftermarket or custom piece to fit, it gets a bit old fast, not to mention time consuming.

I find most if not all CNW items fit without any issues. I have not really had to monkey around with any of their gear. I have had some Old Brits stuff not even come close. The pre made Mikuni fuel lines they sell are not even in the ball park for being close to fitting and their MKIII side panel bracket is rather useless as well and will need mods to fit.

Hi Coco, I noticed in your Commando rebuild you fitted the CNW Hydraulic clutch, was it an easy fit and do you feel it was worth the money ?

It was a very easy install and bleeding it was far easier than I thought it would be. I have bad wrists due to carpal tunnel syndrome so it was a definite upgrade for me. I've had surgery on my throttling wrist already and I'm trying to avoid surgery in my left wrist so that hydraulic upgrade was a good option for me. Lever action is 1 to 2 fingers and a very easy pull.
