That's what I was trying for. It still shines more on one side than the other though, even with the multi leds
More like a "crescent" of light than a "globe".
It's not bad in the dark though just not as bright as the white leds I tried before I bought the green ones.
From previous experience fitting LEDs in classic car clocks you need the bright ones with a diffuse spread, hard to tell which will work from the eBay fodder.
If they are the T10s ( I'm not sure If they are the fitment for other clocks) they are even easier as you don't have to worry about polarity you can just rotate them.
I am using a Positive earth System.
Doesn’t matter with wedge bulbs, you can just flip them around in the bulb holder as long as the holder doesn’t ground to anything else.
Note there are polarity insensitive LEDs (work in either direction of current flow) for most every application now. Just check the specs on what you're buying.
