Joscho Stephan - Hey Joe.

After watching this on YouTube I found the original of "going up the country" !! I'd always thought canned heat did it
Led Zeppelin...actually plagiarized a few songs and claimed them to be theirs

As long as "black Betty" by ram jam isn't a cover ,that'd be it for me 🤔 yep I know it's a cover 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Almost doesn't matter who did Hey Joe to me - it's certainly in my top 5 and I've tried to listen to at least a little of every version on YouTube.

Another in my top 5 is House of the Rising Sun. The Animals made it popular, but it was around for a very long time before them.

John Barleycorn Must Die is another one that’s been around for centuries, and Traffic made it into a twentieth century song.

Almost every day I mine youtube for music. I download and then covert to MP3. I often drive 3 little girls to and from school, and my car srereo plays 640 megabyte discs containing MP3s full of music. I try to let those kids hear a variety of music. Joschp Srephans pieces fir on one CD as MP3s. The kids also like Jacques Loussier, but I have to be selective with that.
I recently found Ringo Starr's band.
Have you heard Carol Curry doing Master Blaster ?

EVERYONE wants to be as cool as Notrun...
