Is your bike at the factory?

Hi
I just joined the forum this evening (midnight UK) and thought it would be useful to let you know that my Norton is also still at the factory service department. The administrator called me earlier this evening to say they are aware my bike was in servicing, it's secure and to let them know when I will be picking it up; which will be as soon as I can sort a van out. The factory is effectively shut down so someone needs to be there when I turn up.
I will let you know what happens

Nice H1 there Graeme !

I am waiting for a call but could do with knowing if the bike is all together and rideable, has anyone else managed to get info on theirs? Battery is low according to the tracker: ever tried bump starting a 961? This is where I miss that kick start.....

.... and to think I was going to run my bike in for a service in January on it's two year anniversary, I can't say how pleased I am that it didn't stop raining otherwise who knows.

Heard yesterday from administrator that my bike can be picked up from the factory. He was very helpful and told me that he could arrange for it to be charged up ready. It'll be a strange experience.......

Take pictures please, if they let you

I collected my bike from the factory today and back home all safe and sound. There are still quite a few bikes still to be collected. The administrators have put all of them in the central work area which is very secure.
Everyone was very helpful with one of the technicians there to explain the work carried out on my bike. Sad to see the half-built bikes in the assembly area

Well done All who have recovered theirs , I have myself sent three emails and a WhatsApp directly to Lee Causer . I have received no response at all from the administrators ... I am out of the U.K. at present, but will be visiting the factory ASAP on my return .

Post on Facebook by Crighton Racing, it's a pic of a V4SS frame with tyreless wheels and a few other bits, it's what remains of a bike in for paintwork warranty work, seems it was stripped of parts to finish another bike off.

If that’s true it’s shocking on many levels.

It’s probably why SG had been seen on site, madly scrambling around trying to cover his tracks...

I just looked at the photo and video of them recovering what’s left. Outrageous.

Freezing ones nuts off is a necessary sacrifice under these circumstances ;)
However, freezing ones socks off is!
( you can ride your bike without yer nuts, but can you ride your bike without feet? This applies to the Male gender, if you don't understand the joke)

Yes it’s theft.

It’s also something illegal with what he did with the parts (if it’s all true) as it means he fitted second hand parts to bikes sold as new.

There are also VAT issues on this as well.

Maybe a small ‘crime’ in the scheme of things but WRONG.

That has been happening to bikes in for service from the beginning, common practice!

This is video of the bike being packed into a van. Probably viewable only if you have a farcebook account but worth a try if not.
