Irresponsible Dad

Irresponsible Dad

Hey GrandPaul, I've been "thinking" about you said and...

I'm not going to try to compare my love for my kids with anyone else's, but I'll proudly say I'm in damn good company.

GrandPaul

I didn't mean to be comparing either, hope you didn't take it that way!

I think you are so right when you say this is a great crowd. Anyone with a lower knowledge level here is treated with respect and immediately made to feel welcome. When you consider the diversity of cultures represented, the slang translations, the time lags, etc. it is clearly more than amazing the hostilities stay at a minimum...My hat's off to you guys that put in the time to make this work and seek correct information and/or solution(s). It's a very valuable resource and more that just another Old Bike Forum. It's an Old Bike Forum with a hobot.

Mike

No, didn't mean to insinuate that you were comparing!

Where did you find that picture of hobot when he was a kid?

hee hee

"Great forum" is putting it mildly.

It's sad that he is now better known than he was when he was alive. He was one of the best songwriters there has ever been. His was a storied life. RIP Townes. A few years ago I think I saw a documentary about his life that I only caught the last part of and I've never seen it again. Was there one or am I making this up??!!? :?

Funny story about music and my son. He and I were flying on a plane and he had John Prine playing on his CD player with headphones (about 10 yrs old). All of a sudden he starts singing out loud "There's a hole in Daddy's arm where all the money goes". He just liked the song, he had no idea what he was saying! I was embarassed to say the least!

Hey Chub,

I think Jason was still in High School in that pic. Do you remember when it was taken?

Those two dogs in the front look a little rough, especially the one with the gray fur!

Jason has a lot of love and respect for you, dude... Never did understand that...although he has said that you paid well.

How ya coming with the project?

Mike

How anyone could look at the smile on you boy's face having so much fun ridding that little motorcycle and think that's wrong I will never know. You are giving you son joy & it seems to me that has got to be the most responsible thing you could do!

Had to be five years ago at least, that's Lucy, not Ruby. Before I had to get a Real job. Wheat harvest going full bore right now, no time to fiddle with the scoot.
