Seems pricey....as india tanks, some painted, are available for much less (less than $300 USD) with free shipping.

Very pricey, (especially for an ugly repro) but as a business they've got overhead to pay. I listed my beautifully painted (Vintage Vendor), OEM 6-gallon baffled tank on eBay for not much more with no bites. I don't want to sell it now.

Weird how the market goes up and down.

A few years back I sold an original Red Interstate tank with a few little scratches and a couple of dings in the op, for $1,000 plus postage. It sold on e-bay within 2 days ("Buy It Now" price)
 
In France two or three years back , had bought two of for 100 and 150 EUROS , the cheapest was nice but I had repaint in 750 royal blue , the other was perfect .... different counties and very different prices !
 
I bought a similar looking tank a few years back. The top was good but the tap location and width of the tunnel needed significant work. Plus the cap needed fettling to fit.

In the end a good tank but lots of additional work required. Plus no baffles.
