INOA National Rally

next week (17-20 july) is the INOA national rally in Vermont.
If anyone is going and wants some particular tech talk subject covered, Please emai me now so I can prepare, gather literature and organize demonstrators. I have so much stuff that I can't bring it all. I may touch on MKIII starter/sprag issues. Model 7 ?? featherbed??

Oh my yes, please inform those able to attend, what you've found the oil pump can supply to engine over 5000 rpm and how much the sump side could pump out over the supplied input volume per minute time unit.

Super easy for me ,a mere 600 miles each way. Someone have a gin and tonic on ice awaiting please. I'll be shopping too as the Customs limits have been upped substantially.

I'm going to try like hell to be there (only a little over 100 miles away), but I'll be watching the weather, I'm a fair weather rider and proud of it, and of course there is nothing quite like sleeping in a tent...in the rain.

PS. ...regarding the original question, I would be quite pleased to see a torn down engine and be able to handle the parts as I've never been inside mine, that and maybe a question or two regarding setting up end float etc.

I like the way rain is soaked into your boots and bedding and then people take mercy on you and help out. That and trying to dry out boots and things by the night campfire and realizing things are melting. Study the weather forecast and bring raingear regardless ,my new polypropolene Frogg Toggs weigh in at 11 ounces and are unbelieveable.

Anyone who attended the Tioga County PA rally will laugh at small rainstorms if they come along. Hopefully it will be a lot cooler than the Empire rally in the Catskills though. I'm 300 miles away and doing the trailer sissy thing (my wife is coming too) but once there I am willing to do some serious mountain riding. Our local Delaware Valley chapter has a most miles per season contest and I just don't want to be in last place. The mountain roads are supposed to be the main attraction of this location. It seems like people from Vermont go by what mountain pass rather than Route numbers. Sounds good to me.

I'll buy you a G&T or maybe a few, Mr. Torontonian, as long as I don't have to drink one. A beer is OK for me. I swore off gin after a terrible knotted head the next morning in my wayward youth.

Yahoooooo - I have one more day of work tomorrow then it's get everything together and go - leaving Monday.

If you see my orange Combat or red Matchless then you'll find me somewhere nearby - old guy spouting some Bullsh*t.

Egyptians invented beer , I loved Egypt. The Brits invented G. n' T.'s with a twist o' lime whilst sitting on their collonial verandas in India to fight off Malaria as Quinine was used in Tonic warer back then. Nowadays only trace amounts are allowed of Quinine as it damages internal organs. Nice. I loved India last winter. Royal Enfields galore. So much Brit beurocracy they use corruption to circuvent regulations. Civilization ,we are the mad dogs !
