I fitted an India made kicker shaft ( half the price) to replace the original which developed a small crack at the pawl support pin area. ( bad pawl ,good thing I inspected ) . Issue seems to be getting the MK 111 kicker back on over the splines. The splines look smaller and thinner than original but it could be my aging eyes. Tried spreading gap with large screwdriver. Yes the kicker has the hacksaw gap enlargement . Dressed with small file outer edge of splined shaft-end to try to ease the introduction to no avail. Experience or thoughts on this ? Should have predicted probs. as I bought an Indian made rear sprocket once and had to return it. I don't want to disassemble the gearbox one more time.
