In the end... I didn't do it...!

Your oil discharge rate was as high as mine . I had the same 100ml per 100 miles driven . BUT all fixed now with the oil in air box update. It really does work well. I hope you persist on getting it , because it is well worth it in my view .

Wow! I don't understand how each build can be so different. Mine generated a mere 20 ml after 600 miles.

I don't understand how the factory can sell something that is faulty, leave you with the problem for years, then when a fix is finally available, charge you for that.
This wouldn't fly anywhere else.

I am reaching this same opinion lately. Why am I being charged to re-flash the ECU when both MCC and Norton UK knew I was having their cat-less exhaust system installed right after the Dyno break-in. I need to pay for their miscommunication?! :x

I would just like to point out that 1 x ECU re-flash should be included with the price of the aftermarket exhausts. So any dealer who sells to you a set of aftermarket pipes should also install the map to suit at the same time of fitment.

In my case the dealer did not sell me the Motad exhaust, but they did install it for me. They did have access to my bike for at least 5 months after the install which is part of my frustration. Rather than lose any more of this riding season I opted to mail them the ECU and pay for the re-flash.

If the new map solves the problems as I've been hearing it does I doubt any of this will matter once I'm riding again.

I thought I should mention here that the re-map worked out very well for me. You won't hear any more whining from me! :D

Forgive me if I'm asking something that's already been stated, but, what map did you get?

According to my documentation it's a mystery. But I am assuming it is the same map Tony A had installed which according to Richard C is 6500077_PR5_0116. My personal experience with MCC has not been all that great. Never mind that I ordered the bike through them.
