I finally have 6000 miles on my 961

I have 1 more ride planned on October 29th , and the weather right now looks bad . 45 Degrees is too cold for me , and rain too. Chicago Norton owners is meeting up for a ride into Indiana . Fingers crossed.!

What happens when you get that stray 55-60 degree day. You stay buttoned up or get out for a nice brisk ride?? I'm always ready to go.

I got to ride to my destination...26 miles...but had to pickup truck it back. Picked up a nail in the rear tire. Took it right to a Kaw dealer a mile from my house and it was done in an hour. Picking it up this morning.:D Worked out fine. So, 8225

Hey Tony? Sorry if my OCD is showing, but shouldn't Britfan60 be listed before GLB? :p

A for me, I see nothing but rain ahead so I won't be racking up any miles over the next 2 weeks.

Oh my, that is OCD. I haven't been offended. Meanwhile I just had surgery on my leg getting the titanium yanked out. I wonder if I could reuse any of that for bike parts LOL. Also today is rainy so I am stuck at 8225. I don't think my orthopedist would be too thrilled about me riding two days after surgery.

I wish other members would chime in with their mileage . There has got to be more of us than this , right ?

I'm stuck, too. I have a lot of tasks on my list that must get done to keep up with the carpenters building our addition. The season is growing short for both riding and building, unfortunately. :(

Hi, I've been meaning to post my mileage for a while now, 2014 Sport, delivered in Oz Feb. 2015, as of last ride 12,606 klms, or 7,833 mls. Mostly trouble free but still some oil in airbox issues, still the best ride, have a 2016 Thruxton R in the shed next to the commando with only 700klms, I think that says what we all know about the ride!!

And maybe that is why I’ve done less than 1000 miles in a year on my new BMW?!

This thread has made me see the irony, I was concerned about reliability, so chose BMW over Norton last year.

Then, in that year, I’ve put less than 1000 miles on my Uber reliable BMW. And during that same time, many of you boys put several 1000 miles on your Norton’s, and no doubt, loved every mile!

There’s a life lesson in there somewhere....!
