I wouldn't trust that battery after it has been discharged as far as it has, and I believe your smart charger is doing what it is supposed to do. The technology in the battery tells a smart charger the LiFePO4 battery is dead at 3V. Not an expert, but I've had a similar situation with a cheaper LiFePO4 motorcycle battery. End result is that it was toast. I still use a LiFePO4 battery, but it's not a Shorai. Due to space constraints and very low battery power requirements on my version of Norton, I use a smaller battery than Shorai sells.By the way the TriSpark MOSFET reg/rect gets along well with the LiFePO4 battery I'm using. There are better larger foot print choices for LiFePO4, but the TriSpark unit does work without seriously over charging the battery. It is very close to the upper edge of what is a good charge rate though, since it is not really designed for LiFePO4.My apologies for the unsolicited babble. Thumbs up for making your own new harness.
