Turn up the volume a bit, the very beginning is a little hard to hear.

From the Guy that posted the clip
"I just picked up a GoPro HD camera, so I stuck it on the front of the Breva and took it out for a test run. I met up with the wife for lunch and thought I had turned the camera off, but didn't press the button long enough. So while we were inside having lunch a couple of guys stopped by and checked out the bike. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time."

LOL! a dang ole dago bike - indeed where do ya sit on it? w/o leather chap heat shields for the legs. Dumb as they sounded they could see that being an issue, as its well demonstrated in recent bike mag reviews, unfortunately with some photo's of pilots actually riding with leg pressed firmly on the heads. Step through is definitely an Italian flavor but no American foot forward style.

I had a similar experiance once with my M.G. V-50 Monza. I couldn't hear what the guy's were saying but judging by the way they were walking around the bike with that deer in the headlights look that said " what the heck is that weird I-Tal-E-an thing? How'd they get the chain in that swing arm" ??? And why would you cut the handle bars in 1/2 and stick em on the forks? look on their face I bet it sounded a lot like your video. Lol.....

I'm a lifetime member of the MGNOC and a guzzi rider since 1977. First guzzi was a 850 T3. The new guzzi's are so much improved from early models that I think they are finally getting the hang of things. I've owned several models over the years and each one abit different from the next. Unlike a Norton, I don't think I'll live long enough to wear it out. My most used guzzi at present is a 1993 Cal III with 112,xxx miles on it. I purchased the bike in 1996. The motor has never been apart. Still has original clutch. Adjust the valves once a year, change oil & filter, air up the tires, charge battery and ride. The one & only mechanical part that has been changed is the U-joint @ 78,000 miles. It was getting a little sloppy.
On the other hand, my MKIII norton motor has been totally rebuilt three times since 1986. Crank regrind once and the barrel bored out twice. Both bikes have their own distingtive character for sure. I love riding both of them but the norton will never live up to the longivity of the guzzi. And to answer your question, where are you supposed to sit on this rascal?
Right behind the jugs...........

My guzzi's in the garage: Norton's in the garage: 54' ES2, 64' G15, 71' 750, 73' 750, 75' MKII
75' MKIII project
93' Cal III
74' V7 Sport
47' Super Alce 500
59' Falcone Tourismo 500
35' GTS 500

Gone but not forgotten Guzzi's: 850T3, V50III,Mille GT, Quota, Centauro, LeMans III-white, Lemans III-red, Jackal, G5, V700.

ride safe,
