Was the Honda CB 400 SS officially imported to the USA ?
It is a single cylinder, twin port dry sump bike made in the early 00s
Close relative is XR 400R, a lot similar but a fair bit different
Anyway, I need a manual in English (hardback not cd).
Can anyone your side of the pond help me, obviously I would meet all costs.
Thanks
sam

XR 400s were pretty rare here. Lots of XR 650 singles. I doubt if a CB 400 SS ever legally made it to these shores. According to sources, it was a Japan-only model that may have been gray-market imported in small numbers.

There is also a Chinese-made knockoff called the Mash.

Thanks, I had seen the article before and was aware of the Mash bikes. I've got a manual for the XR and a Spanish one for the CB unfortunately I only barely speak English :).
I wasn't aware of XR 650s at all, but I'm sure the 400 will fulfill it's role as an errand bike for me.cheers
