Big Block Chevy pushrods.Great pictures. Are those carbon fiber push rods? The only Commando engine (872 cc road racer) I've seen use them didn't end too well. One of the push rods disintegrated.
These are the remaining three. I notice that yours are larger diameter, so should be stiffer.

We ran the 44m Mikunis on the 920cc motor last year; we found they worked great in the 1/4 mile at the drag strip, but we feel they were a bit big for a 3 mile run on the salt (not enough velocity for sustained 7500rpm), so we will be trying the 40mm carbs on both the 920 and the 750, with 38mm carbs in reserve to try as well, in hopes of increasing the velocity (and rpm.)Which carbs do you plan to run on it this year? I think you mentioned previously that you had 38, 40, and 44 mm Mikunis to choose from. The size of those manifolds look like you might be running the big guns.

Silver soldered. Are the lifter extensions bronze welded or silver soldered? Want to do this myself but don't want to upset the stellite bond.
Herb Becker 1 pc pre-hardened 4340 steel crank. 73mm stroke, and custom pistons from JS Motorsports. Carrillo rods. Notice the ring lands moved down to accomodate deeper valve pockets.
Excuse the novice question here, how is that flywheel secured?
