Would anyone have info on model, specs, production year, etc for serial # 20( )108164( )P ? Inside the ( ) there are just vertical lines, don't appear to be letters or numbers. I'll try to get photos, but may be a bit later.

I am also wondering what battery would be correct.

Looks Like a 1964 Atlas. Should have a 12v battery.

Thanks David, now I can start the search for manuals, etc.

Does anyone know if these were raced much, and if so how the bottoms held up ?

A 750 Atlas engine is pretty much the same as a 750 Commando, so should be solid enough. I don't recall roadracing, but the 750 Atlas engine was raced off road extensively in machines such as the P11.
