Headlight switch

Does anyone have any problems with the headlight switch? Mine will not turn on or off. I never tried it until today.

It is locked on US models per Federal regulations!

Mine is a 2013 so I can turn it to pilot light, on and high.

You can easily pull it apart and remove the pin tho.

I think my 961 has the Euro switch because I can turn my headlight on/off or light the pilot.
All 3 switch positions work.

For some time I was riding around with the headlight off without being aware of it.
While riding with friends, one asked me if my headlight was burned out.
I don't normally ride at night so would never have known the headlight was not on otherwise.

Does either UK or Canada law require the headlight to be illuminated at all times as in the US?

Switzerland and Germany do, too. But light switch is not blocked...
