Happy st George’s Day...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but St George was born of Christian Greek parents in what is now Tel Aviv in Israel. He became an officer in
the Roman army and was beheaded for failing to recant his Christian belief.

He apparently killed a dragon in Libya to save a rather attractive young lady. As we all would.

There is no historical record of St George ever setting foot in England, nor supporting Chelsea.

And worse still he did not ride a Norton.

A bit strange he became the patron Saint of England ?

I thought he was born in Turkey...

Not sure bout St.George but very Canada still part of the UK , maybe only superfluously but still , we all cousins , haha !
