Grimeca M.C. to AP 2696 caliper . European bars . Brake line is a bit too long , I want to shorten it , or preferably buy a new one a bit shorter .
The black plastic coated line goes to a ( MK 111 ) fitting , attached to the fork leg . From there , a brass pipe goes to the AP caliper .
Advice or contacts appreciated . Enjoy .

Hi Torontonian, have a look at SpeedFlow website. They do aeroquip Teflon hose and a whole bunch of fittings that may solve your issue. Think the lady who owns it is called Faye, really knows her stuff 👌

Thanks . The website seems a bit vague , so I'll try a personal message .
I'll be attending the International Motorcycle show Jan . 3rd. to 5 th . , Toronto , and will hunt down any people / exhibitors who know brake line configurations too . A good 5 weeks away .
Also our club , Ontario Norton Owners , has been invited to display in Hall 5 , Vintage . So now need trailer transpo for that . No luck today .

In Australia some of the racing car guys have shops, which supply stainless steel braided brake lines and the fittings. I just bought some and assembled the brake lines myself. It is not difficult. I think the actual tube is Teflon.
The guy who sold them to me, showed me his Brabham racing car. He takes it to Goodwood.

Grimeca and others M10 x 1.0. Genuine AP 2696 3/8" x 24. Pattern and Girling marked items can be M10 x 1.0!
Thanks . I'll put those brake line thread sizes into my extensive notes . The World's biggest motorcycle show is coming up in a month here in Toronto , so I'll source direct help there to shorten the line or fit a new shorter one . Thanks .
