They buy a carload of crap UNWRAP IT IN THE PARKING LOT, and throw ALL of the trash RIGHT THERE, where the wind tossed it into the drainage culvert along I-35. hey had to put up catch fences.

IT'S NOT "We Texans", so you can get off that crap. I typically stay away from stuff that gets political on Brit/Bike forums, but I'm not sitting still for this.

Are you telling me the ice is thicker or thinner?
Pictures I've seen on BBC news is the ice on the North pole has gone right back that the polar bears are easy to pick out, as they are waiting for the big freeze to bring more ice so they can hunt more seals.

Hmm. Don't quite know what to make of this, considering that one of the most widely known things about young Greta is that she does not fly, let alone in a private jet. Her visit to the US last year was done using yachts both ways (and yes, I did read about another crew flying over to NY to sail the first one back to Europe again). Actress? No, this is a person who visibly does not enjoy large crowds. As for the rest of the statement, well, she is Swedish, and I suppose some may equate that to Socialist, but it's also really rather absurd.

Along with his incorrect climate comments, Grand Paul has pretty much shown us for what he is.

It's all a very complex thing if you dig into some of the detail. For example, while I do not see any references to an actual increase in coverage at all, it's misleading to simply reference the extent of the icecap without taking into account the age and thickness of the ice. What is being seen now is that thick multi-year ice is being replaced by thin annual ice.

To someone living in the middle of Texas, this all probably sounds unreal and remote. However, to someone in the high arctic, it's very real indeed.

I am gobsmacked by the lack of critical thinking and the shoot-from-the-hip pronouncements of opinion as fact. Attacking a child for trying to do
something positive (right or wrong) is just plain low. Oh! My grandfather was Swedish. Therefore I must be a socialist.

The 2 year anomaly was referring to the expansion. I agree, the ice caps, on both poles, are receding.
 
The ice has receded to such a degree in North Canada that leisure craft sailboats can actually sail from east to west through the fabled NorthWest Passage , during last few Summer seasons , that is a fact , we also know what happened to several boat loads of explorers that tried that same route several decades earlier .... this is Historical fact and it does not make one think that the northern ice is growing larger each year ..... prolly the exact opposite
