I found out about this ride on the 31st.

The local Ducati club made arrangements to meet at a private museum in Ft. Lauderdale yesterday morning, and about 50 bikes showed up. As I had been there before, I knew it was not a place to miss.

Among the goodies in this place are around a dozen Triumphs, including at least four Tridents. In the final assembly room, they've got a Harris Suzuki and a P-11. In one of the 'diamonds in the rough' rooms is a Matchless G-15.

Any Rickman fans will find at least a dozen, including a really nice Metisse.

After the museum tour, we all mounted up and rode to the Clewiston Inn, about 85 miles away, for lunch. Total trip was a little over 200 miles.

As this was the Ducati club, most of the bikes were Ducatis, from a 750SS to a 1098R, along with a few Guzzis, an Aprilia, an MV F4 1000, a handful of BMWs, 3 Hinckley Triumphs, 2 RC 51s, an RC 45, a couple of Gixxers, and 1 Norton.

Finally did the 'ton', riding with a Moto Guzzi LeMans Rosso Corsa :D

Best of all, nothing fell off, and it left no puddles!

Any South Florida Brit Bike owners should try to see this place, either with the Everglades chapter of the Antique Motorcycle club at the end of the month, or with Wes Scott on Feb. 7.

That is excellent, flying the Norton flag "solo" amongst the Euros.

You acquitted yourself well.
