Just an observation; Ollie's Rocker cover gasket shows a front centre hole, corresponding to a casting rib on my 2018 made bike and just a tab on the gasket I replaced. I notice that on the info ref Resources recently posted, the hole is there. Any thoughts?

Either will work fine. I have not seen any dowel or hole used in that spot .

As promised, the timing cover gasket from my 2011 bike...
