Gearbox Mainshaft locking spring clip

On stripping out the gearbox I removed a locking/locating spring clip from the main shaft adjacent to the sleeve gear & behind the gearbox sprocket.... unfortunately this was damaged upon removal so requires replacement
Checking on AN website it doesn't show the clip .... is anyone aware if this been discontinued or found not to be required??

If you mean the clutch location circlip, then yes, it is most definitely required. If it's not that, then I don't know which clip you are referring to?
