Looking through 'before' picks of my Ranger, I came across this pic.
funky bolt for mounting P11 battery cover


The blue can is mounted to the frame via bolt, nut and washer. This bolt has a built-in pin on top, on which the battery cover hangs via grommeted hole. I re-plated it and used it, but I've never been able to find a parts reference for it.

Does anybody know a number for this thing?
 
It is in the part list but not easy to find.
The bolt is listed in the rear mudguard section.

033257 Accessory cover/coil fixing bolt.

Thanks, Peter. I found it in my parts book as 'capacitor spring bolt' in the 'alternator' section of my parts book. Originally sold for 9d!

I never would have found it there.
 
morning ?? im on the hunt for side panel parts and was wondering if you had a photo of the 'funky bolt ' you describe , if i know what it loos like i could make one .

Andy if you google '033257 Accessory cover/coil fixing bolt' Bill T's original photo of the 2MC blue can and bolt will show.
