So, looking for a little help with fuel taps and fuel lines and oil lines.

Serching the world wide internet resulted in a few ideas but alas, can't find what I want.

Looking for help in locating 1/4 British standard fuel taps for 74 Norton. A little custom, but not like the $85 per at Falcon Motorcycle:

Nice but other options without using the OEM or Ol britts style taps and a little chrome or polished. Suggestions?

Fuel line. Hummmm. I have the single Mikuni and looking for a custom look. Braided or ??? Any suggestions for a two into one nice looking functional setup???

Oil lines.....Ok, Braided like in this pix? Cut to length and end capped like in this pix:

Not sure where to get this stuff. Been looking for a bit.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hey skyguyz, I used BAP type for years, didn't leak and looked great. However, about two years ago I found these OMG ones. 8)

IMO they look better than ANY other fuel petcocks for a Norton. As an added plus, the hose routing is short, neat, and clean ... no goofy extra hose that looks terrible (IMO) Plus $46 for a pair, how can ya do better ? As for me, I won't use anything else. I included some pix of what they look like with a Roadster tank and with an Interstate tank. My hose length is cut for when I use the Interstate tank. They work for the Roadster tank too, although a little long. But if I cut them for the Roadster, they are too short for the Interstate tank. (I switch back and forth between them til' I get my 850 built.) Cheers.

I like those taps that BBC sells as well. Nicely made, don't leak, look cool! The only things I don't like about mine are: A little harder to work when riding. The lever types are easier to flip when underway, and especially with heavy gloves on. And you have to really take a close look at them to make sure they are turned off. But, those two things are only minor, compared to how good they are.

Thanks a bunch guys! Really nice info on options for the fuel taps. Options I didn't know that existed. Saved me a bunch of time and headache. Thanks again!

The fuel lines are another matter. Commando Specialties has the nice braided lines but for the two Amal carb setup. Looking for something like that but pre-enginerred for one Mikuni.

Any thoughts ???

Looks like Old Britts is the place for braided steel oil lines. Any other sources that might do?

Oil Line, Feed/Return, 17", Braided Steel (part # 06-2200/A, $68.34)
Oil Line, Return, 12", Braided Steel (part # 06-3144/A, $48.14)
Oil Line, Feed, 15", Braided Steel (part # 06-2201/A, $60.30)
These hoses do come with two 54-800132 end clamps like the 54-800121 clamp shown in the last picture.

I recently replaced my petcocks with a fine set from Old Brits. Quality, Italian made, less than $50 for the pair, delivered.

Yeah, I did the same from OB, BAP, they were about $35/pair plus shipping. They don't flow as fast as the originals, but good enough.
