Not sure if anyone else has experienced this, I kept going over the ignition, floats etc. in an effort to tackle the seemingly "sudden" stumbling and missing ... drove me nuts until I pinned it down. I installed an inline fuel filter to feed the twin JS carbs, and I'm running an "H" pattern fuel line assembly with the filter in the "-" portion. I've discovered that if I remove the tank and allow fuel to spill from the upper lines, or let the bike sit for a few days, an air pocket will develop in the line between the filter and the carb. You can tell this (with a clear fuel filter). Opening both petcocks and the fuel cap, and tapping the filter results in the filter quickly filling with fuel... problem solved.

To this Torontonian it would be problem identified ? Guessing you will now rethink the fuel routings ? Anyways will meet you Aug. 16-17th this summer.

Glad you'll be coming out this year! Yes, rethinking my fuel lines... my goal was to make the plumbing as simple as possible, prior to fitting the filter the "H" pattern worked well.
