Fuel filter size, what does FLG mean ??

I had some cheap plastic see-through filters on my bike briefly. They came from the lawn mower section of my local hardware store. On the highway the Norton would starve for fuel and I had to back off to 45 MPH. So whatever you use, be sure that they can flow enough to keep up with the motor's needs. I also recommend metal enclosures (those Pingle's look nice), as plastic can deform if the lines aren't long enough to prevent a tight radius.

I only used them because the Chinesium petcocks I had would shed bits of rubber from the internal seals that would get stuck in my carbs. After switching to BAP fuel taps the filters were unnecessary.

I think the one you want is Pingel SS1P - I bought 2:
It says 5/16" but 1/4" lines fit
Thanks
That is what I was asking about as I know they make a good product!
