front disc paint

    just spoke with canada based guy who is sending new disc..fluidsix..he say disc is raw but with lite antirust oil...i plan to remove oil with brake cleaner spray mask off swept area, spray... i 'done seen' a a couple of youtube videos on the subject so it must be so!

    Ha! Ha! +6C and real rain so not too bad .... I used the black rust coat on inner of rotor ....Alan you sure you should be trusting Canada based guy ?

    Whatever you use, shouldn't it be a high temp rated paint? There are quite a few brake caliper high temp paint colours available at auto part shops here in Cantuckistan.

    That looks like a “new old stock” rotor ,wow! ...... great job Craig ...

    how hot disc get in normal use? the duplicolor silver wheel paint i have sez it can take 250F ...that's pretty hot
